Tasked with transforming the rooftop of the iconic Harbord Hotel in Freshwater, we developed the concept, name, and brand identity for Bombies a 70s-inspired rooftop bar and music venue that captures the freewheeling spirit of surf culture’s golden age.
From positioning to visual identity to press strategy, we shaped Bombies as a bold new chapter for Harbordm one that would cement its reputation as the home of live music and a new cultural centre of gravity for the Northern Beaches’ creative community.
The launch weekend featured a headline performance from Keli Holiday and a packed rooftop crowd, with buzz amplified through coverage in Broadsheet, Concrete Playground, and local paper, Manly Daily.
