Epochal Hotels
We’ve helped build Epochal Hotels from the ground up, brand, strategy, and story.

Eight years. Every brand, every PR strategy, every venue across the group. The central challenge never changed: how do you scale without losing what makes each place worth going to?
Epochal Hotels has built one of the most interesting collections of hospitality venues in Australia, each one with a distinct personality, each one embedded in a specific community. The challenge of any growing group is coherence without homogenisation: how do you give the portfolio a voice investors and operators can rely on, while keeping each venue genuinely its own?
We built the answer through the Like No Other positioning and a B2B2C brand architecture, a masterbrand framework that gives Epochal the credibility and coherence it needs at the group level, while preserving the individual identity of each venue. Harbord Hotel, Beach Hotel Merewether, and others across the portfolio: each designed to feel like it belongs to the community it’s in, with the group standing confidently behind it.
Eight years of partnership means we’ve seen the group through openings, repositions, and expansions. The work isn’t a series of campaigns, it’s a sustained creative and strategic relationship that has shaped how Epochal thinks about itself and how its venues earn their places.
