Revived a 98-year-old heritage venue from the ground up through the brand idea The Freshwater Beach House, linking the venue to its community roots, surf culture and role as the neighbourhood's third space. Bombies, a rooftop bar born from 70s Freshwater surf and garage-band culture, was built as a space for live music, live recording and community access to the arts.

The Harbord Beach Hotel hadn't changed hands in forty years. The challenge was to honour history while making space for the future and embedding local culture into every aspect of the brand.
