Hook Island sits at the heart of the Whitsundays, one of the most extraordinary natural environments on earth. Opening in 2027, it needed a brand ambitious enough to match its setting.
Example was engaged to lead the full placemaking strategy, brand creation, experience design and communications for Hook Island, a groundbreaking eco-luxury resort opening in 2027. Working from concept through to cultural rollout, we developed the resort’s storyline, brand identity, guest journey, food and beverage philosophy, and signature experiences.
This is one of Australia’s most significant new hospitality projects, built on the principle that the most extraordinary destinations earn their reputation by making guests feel closer to a place, not further from it. Every brand and experience decision was made with that in mind.
A resort that will set a new benchmark for eco-luxury in the Asia-Pacific. We’re building the brand that earns it that title before it opens.
