A QSR franchise that had outgrown its own brand. We repositioned Mad Mex around the thing its customers already believed: fresh food and an active life.
Mad Mex Rebrand
A QSR franchise that had outgrown its own brand. We repositioned Mad Mex around the thing its customers already believed: fresh food and an active life.

A fast-casual brand with a loyal following and an identity that no longer matched the people buying it.
Mad Mex had built something rare in Australian QSR: genuine affection. Customers chose it because the food was fresh, the portions were honest, and it fitted the way they actually ate. But the brand still looked and sounded like a generic Mexican chain. The positioning hadn't caught up with the audience.
We sharpened everything around the real reason people came back: health-conscious, flavour-driven food that fits an active lifestyle. Not a wellness rebrand. Not a pivot. A sharper articulation of what was already true, expressed through bold visuals, an energised brand voice, and messaging that made Mad Mex feel like it belonged at the intersection of fresh food and real life.
A QSR brand that stopped trying to be everything to everyone and started owning the territory its customers had already given it.
