A family-owned Italian deli that became a restaurant empire. We gave SMC a brand identity bold enough to match its ambition without losing the heritage that made it worth scaling.

Salt Meats Cheese started as a deli. Authentic Italian produce, family recipes, a neighbourhood following that grew by word of mouth. When that following turned into a multi-venue restaurant group, the brand needed to grow with it without becoming another generic Italian chain in a market that already has too many.

We built an identity that does two things at once: honours the family heritage and the quality of the produce, while injecting the kind of playful, modern energy that makes SMC feel younger and more alive than its competitors. Bold design, confident tone, and a visual language that works from a shop front to a social feed. The brand radiates the same warmth as the food, without ever feeling safe or expected.
